The XESS system includes an SDK programming toolkit which enables tight integration of the XESS spreadsheet infrastructure into host applications such as the financial trading system from Vector Partners, LP. This allows the host application to utilize and extend the underlying functionality of the XESS spreadsheet - allowing users of the host application to interact directly with the spreadsheet or limiting direct user interaction with the spreadsheet by the host's user interface.
